I love cake, birthday cake, holiday cake, cup cake, and all of cakes cousins, i.e muffins, pies and cornbread (the sweet kind) and when its time for my private part-y cake is definitely the main course on the menu. Celebrating day 1 with cake for breakfast in bed is not an unusual occurrence, but sometimes my other
cakes take a hit after my monthly cake overload. I also noticed my cramps would intensify right around the time I started stuffing my face, but giving up my beloved sweet treat was not an option. After doing a little research I found that stationary activities while celebrating your cycle can actually worsen abdominal cramps. So I found a way to have my cake and keep my
cakes in tact!
The best part is all of this activity is laying down so we can unfold from our celebration ball into a quick circuit of abdominal exercises that will alleviate the pain of our bodies monthly detox and it also keeps that cake I love so dearly off my cakes :) Try it out for yourself and leave me your abdominal soothing techniques and cake recipes, I'm always open to try something new!
